Position Summary
The Senior Technician serves as the lead field specialist responsible for complex conveyor repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks, while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conveyor installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Train and oversee Level I and II Technicians.
- Conduct site safety meetings and enforce compliance standards.
- Diagnose system faults and recommend repair strategies.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager for project updates and materials needs.
- Maintain accurate service and inspection records.
- Effective utilization of Service Fusion (front-end system) App as trained by TCS management.
- Consistent and accurate usage of Gusto (payroll/time & attendance) App.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of conveyor or mechanical systems experience.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, welding, and alignment techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Certification in industrial maintenance or millwright trade.
- Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging certification.
